CIAC Remote Audit Service Plan

Bringing the Data to You

CIAC Comprehensive Circuit reports include ambient temperature and humidity, with daily/weekly automated “megger” test results. These reports provide the analytics of circuit performance trending. By exporting the .csv file and overlaying that information on what days specifically that your plant was running, you will be able to effectively forecast potential circuit failures BEFORE they happen!

The result is the BEST use of your annual budget for the repair and replacement of the highest priority electric heat trace installations.

In-Depth Breakdown of EHT Systems

Comprehensive Circuit Reports detailing performance over time of the individual circuits within your EHT system.

These insights give you the critical data needed to make budget conscious decisions necessary to maintain your highest priority EHT applications.

Data Analysis for Peace of Mind

When circuits show only expected changes in megohm values, you can rest easy knowing everything is working as intended.

In this example, the megohm value remains at a relatively “good” level for the month of February.  Even though the measurements fall approximately 15% when the plant isn't operating, the absolute values do not warrant any investigation at this point in time.

Circuit Analysis Recommendations

Here is an example of ambient and plant conditions impacting how a circuit performs during the same month of February.

Megohm readings fall significantly (approximately 90%) and very importantly the absolute values indicate the circuit is in critically poor health (any value less than 5 megohms is considered a “failed” circuit).

In this case, the analysis would state the required action is to INVESTIGATE IMMEDIATELY.
